About us

The Deanery consists of three locality offices; North and East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire (based at Willerby in Hull), South Yorkshire (based at Don Valley House in Sheffield) and West Yorkshire (based at Willow Terrace Road in Leeds). The area is home to a wide variety of healthcare Trusts and further details of these can be found on the Deanery website

Yorkshire and the Humber Profile

As a forerunner in national and local recruitment, the Yorkshire and the Humber Postgraduate Deanery is keen to attract high calibre candidates from across the UK to practice within the region. Yorkshire and the Humber offers a huge range of locations and trusts for trainees to work within, and looks to continuously support a family friendly approach to training. With locations ranging from the diverse cities of Hull, Leeds and Sheffield; all of which offer vibrant night life and city living, to the beautiful rural areas of North Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire, easy access to the Peak District, Yorkshire and the Humber has something for everyone. First rate training delivered on all sites, coupled with a robust Quality Assurance process, ensures that trainees gain the most experience possible from the exciting opportunities available for training and career progression. To maximise training opportunities, programmes may involve working in more than one locality and may, in certain specialties, cross the deanery boundary into the East Midlands.
