Profile

The Oxford Deanery coordinates the delivery and funding of
postgraduate medical and dental education for the three counties
of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire covering
1700 posts.
The worldwide image and reputation of the University of Oxford
is an important asset to the Deanery. The Deanery, building on
its close links with the University Medical Sciences Division and
the teaching hospitals in Oxfordshire, has an enviable reputation
which needs to be maintained and enhanced. In this
regard a Clinical Academic School is being established.
A Careers Adviser has been appointed.

All posts will be advertised on the NESC website
(http://nesc.nhs.uk) so that candidates can get as much
information as possible and they can then proceed via a
link to the online recruitment system. Adverts will also
appear on NHS Jobs and an advert will be placed in the
BMJ under each specialty referring potential candidates to
the NESC website.
