Profile
Consultants in public health serve the population, whether they
are working for a rural community, a large city or the entire
national population. The principles remain the same: prevention
of ill health, promotion of healthy life styles and provision of
good health care services.
We are looking for doctors who are ready to undertake this
challenge. You may be:
• Just completing your F2 training and looking for your first
specialist training post or
• Already in a specialist training post but beginning to realise
that you would prefer to try and prevent disease rather than
treat it when it is already established or
• Already qualified in general practice or another specialty but
looking for a change of career.
