RESEARCH FELLOW IN STEREOTACTIC RADIOSURGERY
Applications are invited for a Fellowship for Post CCT or equivalent neurosurgical trainees based at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield, for a fixed-term period of 18 months. This is a unique post providing experience in a range of stereotactic techniques in one of the fastest growing minimally invasive fields in neurosurgery. The successful applicant would gain experience and training with the Gamma Knife facility in the National Centre for Stereotactic Radiosurgery.
The candidate will be expected to participate in the elective spinal pathway for two sessions/week. The post does not attract a National Training Number.
The successful candidate must be registered with the GMC with a licence to practise in line with the introduction of revalidation on 16 November 2009.
