St George’s Hospital in Christchurch is a private, not-for-profit hospital offering the very latest surgical technologies and well equipped theatres. We’re excited about setting up a specialist Ophthalmology service, and we are looking for the right Consultant Ophthalmologist to make it happen.

You will need to be an expert in the field of General Ophthalmology. Expertise in at least one subspecialty of Ophthalmology would be an advantage. Ideally, you’ll have experience in vitreoretinal practice specialising in vitrectomy techniques. Finally, you must be eligible for vocational registration as a specialist with the New Zealand Medical Council.
