ACADEMIC CHAIR IN CANCER PREVENTION

-Inaugural Cancer Institute NSW Academic Chair in Cancer Prevention.

The Cancer Institute NSW Academic Chair in Cancer Prevention is a key role in an exciting new partnership between the Cancer Institute New South Wales (CINSW) and the University of Western Sydney (UWS). UWS has a bold vision of becoming a recognised leader in health and medical research, and education. We are seeking to appoint a research leader to the position of Cancer Institute NSW Academic Chair in Cancer Prevention, a cornerstone role of academic leadership for a joint programme of research with the Cancer Institute NSW focusing on cancer prevention and early detection.
There are extensive opportunities for collaborative research within the UWS Centre for Health Research and the School of Medicine and across the sister Schools of Nursing and Midwifery, Science and Health, and Education. The Chair is an outstanding opportunity for a leader in cancer prevention and early detection research to build a world-class research programme that will drive rapid programme and service improvements to impact positively on cancer outcomes. The Chair will possess a distinguished research track record, along with a proven record of leadership in research, and a demonstrated ability to develop and implement a strategic vision and plan for a major research programme.
