University Hospital Limerick seeks
GPs as Registrars
University Hospital Limerick (UHL) is one of the fastest growing hospitals in Ireland, with strong academic and training links with University of Limerick (UL) and is the principal teaching hospital of the Graduate Entry Medical School (GEMS) at UL.
Several recent developments have advanced the clinical, educational and academic programmes on the hospital campus. A new medical school building has just opened on the University of Limerick campus and a major Clinical Education and Research Centre (CERC) is planned for 2014 to support academic programmes on the hospital campus. A new six-storey Critical Care Block has been completed and a new Emergency Department (incorporating the state-ofthe- art paediatric section) is being constructed.
As part of our clinical staffing expansion, the Department of Paediatrics is initiating an exciting pilot project to foster interaction between the secondary and primary care services by the appointment of two General Practitioners to work within the Department of Paediatrics as Registrars. This appointment would be for 1 year duration and the successful applicant will have opportunity for clinical exposure in the Paediatric Emergency Department, Paediatric Day Unit, Paediatric Wards and Outpatients.
Apply by forwarding your CV to firstname.lastname@example.org
Closing date for receipt of applications is Friday, 18th April 2014.
