Salary: £75,249 – £100,451 per annum

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a highly regarded, innovative NHS team providing a comprehensive range of proactive occupational health services, located in the beautiful counties of Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.

You will provide clinical leadership to a multidisciplinary professional team, which places a positive emphasis on the health and wellbeing agenda. You will work alongside an enthusiastic and forward thinking Service Director, sharing operational and management responsibilities, including the management of other doctors within the service.

Working Well, hosted by 2gether NHS Foundation Trust, provides occupational health services to NHS staff in Gloucestershire and Herefordshire and to a wide variety of other public and private sector organisations. There are excellent links with other NHS occupational health services within the region, providing opportunities for audit and peer support.

Working Well has experienced successful growth over several years. A positive and committed consultant is now required to continue the ongoing development of the service both in terms of growth and innovation. With mental health problems being identified as a major cause of absence in the NHS, this position provides a fantastic opportunity to capitalise on the expertise available within the Trust to develop new strategic approaches. We also will expect you to contribute towards our ambition to achieve SEQOHS accreditation in 2014/15.
