Consultant In Occupational Medicine

You are an outstanding professional and will provide clinical leadership to the occupational health team and assume a brief encompassing everything from service development, undergraduate and postgraduate training and clinical governance to research, audit and supervision. Key tasks will range from advising management on sickness issues, developing policies and protocols and interpreting trends to attending committees and carrying out workplace assessments. Promoting best practice will be an important part of the job, as will the opportunity to shape the role and the service within UCLH. You will have progressive and innovative ideas on how to improve the health and wellbeing of our diverse workforce in conjunction with our key partners.
Your comprehensive clinical experience, knowledge and credibility in occupational medicine will be supported by outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills, a sound grasp of clinical governance principles and demonstrable expertise in designing and presenting audits. You will also have proven experience teaching students and other members of the multidisciplinary team, adhere to good medical practice and be able to communicate at all levels. You must be eligible for full UK GMC Registration and hold MCEM/MRCP [UK]/MRCS or equivalent.
