University Hospital Limerick seeks Junior Doctors

University Limerick Hospital is one of the fastest growing hospitals in Ireland, with strong academic and training links with University of Limerick (UL) and is the principal  teaching hospital of the Graduate Entry Medical School (GEMS) at UL. The hospital is the regional trauma centre hospital serving a population of 378,410 in the Mid West. It is  the second busiest Emergency Department in Ireland with annual attendances of around 61,000 new presentations.

  • Paediatrics subspecialty exposure to diabetes, endocrinology, cystitis fibrosis, ambulatory paediatrics, developmental and community paediatrics
  • Anaesthetics & ICU – the ICU positions are open to doctors from anaesthetics and other suitable specialties e.g., medicine, surgery and emergency medicine
  • Surgery – vascular, breast, colorectal and urology
