Staff Grade Doctor posts – Occupational Health (OH)
£52,000 - £77,000 (depending on experience and qualifications + benefits), London
These posts offer an outstanding opportunity to become members of a unique, in house, multidisciplinary OH team serving London’s safety critical transport industry.
We are looking for two enthusiastic Staff Grade Doctors who have significant OH and general experience and a postgraduate OH qualification to join our hard working team. The multidisciplinary team is doctor led, and includes several Consultants, Support Doctors, Specialist Registrars, Occupational Health Advisers, Clinical Nurses, Technicians, Physiotherapists, Trauma Psychologists and Drug and Alcohol Treatment Advisers. We are part of the bigger Health, Safety and Environment Directorate, advising TfL.
You will work primarily supporting the team in a clinical capacity. There will also be plenty of opportunity to become involved in other activities such as health surveillance, educational programmes and various projects. You will gain experience of a wide range of occupational hazards and associated risk control. There is excellent support from three Consultant Occupational Physicians.
To seize the opportunity you will need to be GMC registered with experience in hands-on medical roles, either in a hospital, General Practice or an OH department. Along with a good CPD record, you must have the confidence to take on leadership responsibility as your expertise develops.
You will also have the opportunity to join TfL’s final salary pension scheme, all zone TfL travel pass and private medical insurance.
