PART TIME CONSULTANT IN PAEDIATRIC PUBLIC HEALTH MEDICINE

• 5 PA’S PER WEEK, NO ON-CALL
• SALARY: £75,249 PA - £101,451 PA PRO RATA

This new and innovative post will further strengthen the Emergency Department at our North Manchester General Hospital Site. Our Emergency Departments have been completely refurbished with purpose-built audio-visually separate Paediatric Emergency areas. Our North Manchester Emergency Department provides the full range of Adult and Paediatric Emergency Medicine care.

We are one of the largest Trusts in the country. In 2012-13 on average, we received nearly 1,000 new patient attendances a day over our four sites. The Trust employs over 9,000 multidisciplinary staff and we have a strong focus on education and training, holding internal ALS, ATLS and APLS courses.

We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who has a clinical interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine. You should hold a primary medical degree and membership of fellowship of the Faculty of Public Health. You will be on the UK General Medical Council’s Specialist Register, or be able to provide documentary evidence of such within six months of the interview date.
