Department of Anatomical and Cellular Pathology
Clinical Professional Consultant

Applicants should have (i) a medical qualification (approved for registration with The Medical Council of Hong Kong); (ii) a higher qualification [MRCPath/FRCPA/FRCP(C)/Diploma of American Board of Pathology(AP)/ FHKAM(Pathology)]; (iii) at least six years’ post-internship experience; and (iv) experience in medical teaching and clinical services in surgical pathology, renal and urogenital pathology. Duties include (a) teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes; (b) planning and organizing professional educational activities; (c) participating in related clinical activities; and (d) providing guidance and consultation to trainees in the Department. Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to two years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The University offers a comprehensive fringe benefit package, including medical care, plus a contract-end gratuity for an appointment of two years, and a monthly fixed-sum cash allowance and a housing subsidy for eligible appointee.
