We are seeking applications from exceptional individuals to join the School of Medicine in delivering our ambitions to expand and develop our increasing reputation in clinical skills and simulation. In particular, we are looking for this senior appointment to provide expert guidance, leadership and contribute towards the development of research and scholarship.

The University of Dundee has made a substantial investment in clinical skills and simulation education and this is an exciting full-time clinical academic post. The Director of the Clinical Skills Centre is a key strategic appointment within the School of Medicine with responsibility for strategic developments in the Centre, for the planning and delivery of clinical skills training, for the management of the Clinical Skills Centre and for research in and evaluation of clinical skills education and training using simulation.

You will hold a professional postgraduate qualification in a clinical discipline or have equivalent professional experience and be registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) or equivalent. With an excellent teaching and scholarship profile you will have evidence of academic leadership and having made a recognised contribution to the field of clinical skills and simulation through your professional development.
