The Children's Clinic, Cayman

With crystal clear Caribbean waters and diverse marine life, the Cayman Islands are renowned for some of the world’s finest scuba diving and water sports. Other sporting activities include soccer, rugby, cricket, hockey, tennis, squash and triathlons. As the fifth largest banking centre in the world, Grand Cayman is truly an unmatched destination.

The Cayman Islands are a group of three islands, one hour south of Miami, with jet service to 14 cities in Europe and North America, including direct flights to London and Toronto.

The twin pillars of finance and tourism guarantee a solid base for low unemployment and a high per capita income that allows the Cayman Islands to be the safest, most affluent islands in the Caribbean.  As a British overseas protected territory, there are no restrictions on foreign ownership of property. A recent HSBC survey revealed Cayman as one of the top five places to live for expat. families, due to low crime, excellent education and health care systems.

Applications are invited by The Children’s Clinic, Cayman, for a Paediatrician/ Neonatologist.

Candidates must possess:

      •    A Postgraduate specialist qualification in Paediatrics, eg MRCP, MRCPCH (Canada) or FAAP (USA)

      •    Minimum 5 years’ full time experience after passing MRCP

      •    NICU experience in a tertiary care facility

      •    Must be able to perform all medical procedures required in NICU and PICU

      •    Must be able to work independently

      •    Primary Care/Well Baby Care is essential

      •    GP Training/experience would be beneficial

Minimum 2 year term. If relocating due to spouse’s job, part time could be available.

Salary and Benefits

Salary based on experience and qualifications and will vary since income is based on a ‘fee for service’. Salary range: US$120,000 to US$180,000 per annum (Tax Free).

Benefits include Health Insurance and Pension contributions.
