Chair in Clinical Paediatric Respiratory Medicine

Applications are invited for this new exciting opportunity to further develop paediatric respiratory research in the Institute of Molecular and Experimental Medicine (IMEM), School of Medicine. The post is for five academic sessions to further develop clinical epidemiological research and interventional cohort studies in paediatric respiratory medicine. Current research in the Institute includes studying mechanisms of pathogenesis and long term cardiorespiratory outcomes of neonatal lung disease. Experience in cohort studies of respiratory disease in children is particularly welcome.
This is primarily an academic post but an honorary contract will be obtained from Cardiff and Vale University Health Board to enable clinical research. As with all Clinical Chairs, the post holder will be expected to work with NHS colleagues and to establish a leadership profile in the speciality.

Salary: £72205 - £93742 per annum pro rata (Grade D6).
