Applications are invited for the post of
Editor-in-Chief (EiC) – BMJ Open Diabetes Research and Care
BMJODRC is a new Open Access journal covering all aspects of Diabetes Mellitus from basic to clinical research. The journal is the official journal of the American Diabetes Association (ADA). We are seeking an Editor-in-Chief who can maintain a high-level of peer review and represent the scientific and international reputation of BMJ Group and the ADA.
Applications from Endocrinologists with an interest in Diabetes are invited. Applicants should have an MD or MD/PhD degree with a history of extramural funding and have a high impact publication record. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to education and academic excellence. The selected individual will have editorial experience and vision to lead this new endeavour for the BMJ Group.
Full editorial support and training will be provided. The Editor should expect to spend up to a day in total each week on journal-related activities. The successful applicant(s) will be free to select his/her own team of Associate Editors and editorial board members.
