3-Year BRC Molecular Diagnostics Fellow (2 posts)

Grade E64: salary in the range of £30,992 - £35,596 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for two molecular diagnostics fellows to join the Oxford BRC NHS Molecular Diagnostics Centre (MDC). The position is fixed-term for 3 years in the first instance and is ideally suited for a post-doctoral senior clinical scientist or senior specialist registrar in any clinical speciality or pathology who wishes to pursue a career in molecular diagnostics. Fellowship of the Royal
College of Pathology is desirable, but not essential. The position is a unique opportunity for post-graduate training in molecular medicine. Accreditation of this innovative training program with the Royal College of Pathologists will be sought.

The Oxford BRC Molecular Diagnostic Centre is an inter-disciplinary Centre funded to undertake a major programme of translational research with the University of Oxford in molecular diagnostics.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and participate in biomarker development. You will supervise scientific staff and assist in the preparation of high impact publications.
