SSAFA GSTT Care LLP (‘the LLP’) provides primary and community healthcare services to British Forces Germany Health Service (BFG HS). These services are provided to service personnel, entitled civilians and their families living in British Army Garrison areas across Northern Germany - over 35,000 patients across 13 GP surgeries. The LLP is committed to providing healthcare equivalent to that provided by the NHS, and works in partnership with Designated German Provider hospitals and parts of the NHS to provide an integrated and innovative health service.

Reporting to a Local Clinical Director, the Lead GP will provide leadership and clinical supervision to the team in a Medical Centre, planning and implementing day-to-day delivery of services. You will also provide GP services for up to 80% of your time. You must be an experienced practitioner, possess MRCGP and have or be willing to develop GP training status. Leadership experience and a strong commitment to professional development are also essential.

For the Salaried GP post, we are looking for self-motivated, innovative practitioners with experience of practising as a fully qualified GP.

Salary ranges: Lead GP: £75,000 – £95,000, and Salaried GP: £65,000 – £85,000

Applicants should be aware that certain nationality restrictions apply because of the NATO Status of Forces Agreement. One such restriction is that we cannot employ individuals who are ordinarily resident in Germany or are German nationals.
