Applications are invited for two Specialty Registrar Advanced Training Programme posts in Hepatology to commence on 1st September 2013. The Training Programme is approved by the Royal College of Physicians and successful candidates will eligible for a Certificate of Completion of Training in Hepatology. Applicants should already be Specialty Registrars in the third or fourth year of a Substantive Training Programme in Gastroenterology.
These posts are not available to trainees outside of a Training Programme. These posts are for 12 months, six of the 12 months will based in the Liver Unit, at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital in Sheffield, and the other six months will be based in the Liver Unit at St James’s Hospital in Leeds. In the event of further vacancies arising on the Training Scheme, shortlisted candidates may be considered.
The successful candidates must be registered with the General Medical Council with a licence to practise in line with the introduction of revalidation on 16th November 2009.
