Cardiology at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has developed extensively over the last few years to deliver a wide range of services to a population of 400,000. These include a full range of non invasive investigations including CT angiography, diagnostic cardiac catheterisation, coronary angioplasty and pacing. We are now looking to appoint two additional Consultant Cardiologists to join our well developed team within cardiology; one substantive and one locum with a view to a substantive post.
King’s Mill Hospital has been totally redeveloped and we are now working within excellent facilities appropriate to the 21st century, which includes a dedicated cardiac catheter suite with two procedure rooms for both elective and non elective diagnostic angiography, angioplasty and pacing including an ICD and CRT service.
If you are interested in supporting our PCI and pacing services we would like to hear from you. You will also provide both in patient and out patient care and will contribute to the acute cardiology on call rota at KMH and have the opportunity to participate in the PPCI rota at the tertiary centre.

The successful candidate will be contracted with Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the post will be based at King’s Mill Hospital. All candidates must have full GMC registration and be on the specialist register or within 6 months of gaining CCT at time of interview.
