CLINICAL RESEARCH IN NEUROSURGERY

Fixed Term for 18 Months
Salary will be in the range £31,523 to £37,448 per annum
Applications are invited for this post, working under the direction of Prof Sam Eljamel and Prof Sandy Cochrane. The post gives the opportunity for a Higher Surgical Trainee who is pursuing a career in Neurosurgery to undertake a period of research. The successful applicant will use a novel technique to validate a new device for minimally invasive neurosurgical procedures. The successful candidate is expected to compile material for an MD(res) or a PhD thesis during the tenure of the post, which will be for an initial period of 18 months. The post will also involve some clinical neurosurgical SpR level duties. You must possess GMC Registration, and License to Practise.
