MOUNT SINAI HOSPITAL
The Division of General Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto, and the University of Toronto is searching for an academic Colorectal Surgeon with the following qualifications:
- Completion of General Surgery Residency and Colorectal Fellowship
- Graduate degree (MSc or PhD) in Clinical Epidemiology or basic/translational science or education and/or a track record of research activity and ongoing productivity
- Clinical and research training, experience and interest in the field of Colorectal Surgery, with a special interest and planned focus in management of Inflammatory Bowel Disease
- Demonstrated ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and to teach trainees at all levels
The successful applicant will join the faculty of the Department of Surgery at the University of Toronto at a level commensurate with previous experience and academic productivity, at minimum, at the level of Assistant Professor. Candidates must be eligible for Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
