Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist (fixed term)
Starship Children’s Health, Auckland, New Zealand
The position is 0.8-0.9 full time equivalent for nine months to cover maternity leave.
The successful applicant will be working in a dedicated Multidisciplinary Team that currently consists of three Consultants and Nurse Specialists providing a high quality Clinical Service. The person will participate in all aspects of Clinical Service, Teaching, and Quality Assurance Activities with opportunities for Clinical Research.
Starship Children’s Health is the only comprehensive Children’s Hospital in the country, serving a childhood population of approximately one million. The Department of Nephrology provides comprehensive care to children with Renal Disease throughout New Zealand, and is the only National Referral Centre for Paediatric Nephrology.
