Applications are invited for the above post with the University of Cambridge with
honorary status at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUHNFT).
The Department of Radiology is based at Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
The University Department of Radiology has played a major role in developing
new techniques within the field of CT, MRT and Ultrasound and is a pioneer in
new methods of interventional image-guided procedures. It has contributed to the
outstanding scores awarded in the last three UK Government research evaluations.
The post offers significant protected time to develop an imaging research programme
in a collaborative and supportive environment, within the Department and the
University as a whole, while allowing clinical duties to be undertaken.
The successful applicants will also have a role in supporting undergraduate and
postgraduate teaching and assessment in Radiology.
Clinical duties will represent approximately 50% of the job plan. We welcome
applications from those with relevant clinical expertise and offer particular opportunities
for clinical academic development.
Applicants are required to be on the GMC Specialist Register or close to
accreditation. Their research achievements to date will indicate that they will
thrive in the Cambridge research environment and that they have the potential
to become the leader in their field.
