Working for Newcastle Hospitals
The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest and most successful teaching hospital Trusts in the UK, recognised nationally as a centre of healthcare excellence. With a strong regional, national and indeed international identity, our hospitals offer an innovative and forward thinking work environment with the widest possible choice of opportunities, whatever profession you decide to pursue.
We're proud of our North East roots, providing patient-centred healthcare to the people of the North East and beyond for over 250 years. We currently provide the widest range of specialist services than any other hospital in the country and are the forefront of clinical practice in many specialist areas such as heart and lung transplantation and immunology services for babies and children. From newborn babies to the elderly and infirm our overarching aim is to deliver leading edge healthcare to all who come into our care, with a personal touch.
With a strong pioneering spirit we are a leader in research and development working in partnership with one of the UK's leading medical schools, Newcastle University which means we can deliver benefits for, not only today's patients, but for the generations of tomorrow. Current achievements here in the North East are the internationally recognised developments in stem cell research, genetics and "ageing and vitality".
We are looking for enthusiastic and talented people who are good team workers, keen to work in an exciting and challenging setting, delivering excellent patient care and making a genuine difference to the lives of each and every one of our patients. Committed to continuously developing all our staff's skills and knowledge, we can help you benefit through individual learning frameworks, and we are continually investing in resources for education and training as well as our major £300m facilities investment programme currently underway to modernise facilities and your working environment.
