Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust invites applications for a Consultant Paediatric Neurologist with special interest in Neonatal Neurology. This is a replacement, full time, substantive NHS Consultant post with an opportunity to work cross site with the Paediatric Neurology Team based at St Mary’s Hospital (SMH). This post has approval from the British Paediatric Neurology Association. An Honorary Academic Appointment with Imperial College Faculty of Medicine may be granted if appropriate.
 The postholder will provide both an inpatient and outpatient Tertiary Perinatal/Paediatric Neurology Service, in West London. The postholder will be expected to continue to provide/develop Neonatal Neurology Services at the Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital (QCCH). This will include Antenatal counselling, consultation for patients admitted to Neonatal Intensive Care Services within Imperial, early detection and management of Neonates with Neurological problems within the West London sector and provide Clinical support for the Neonatal Research Programme. The postholder will develop a seamless care pathway for infants with Neurodevelopmental problems, and join in the care of older children with Neurological Disease through audit, research, teaching, and the development of common training and management pathways.
