Clinical Senior Lecturer in Social Studies and Environmental Risk Factors
We would like to invite applications for the post of Clinical Senior Lecturer in
Social Studies and Environmental Risk Factors. This is a joint post between
the MRC Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry Centre and the
Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. You will have responsibilities
to both departments but their scope will be adapted to reflect the dual rold.
You will be expected to develop an independent programme of
research, as Principal Investigator, in relevant aspects of social studies
or environmental risk factors including publishing scientific articles and attracting funding to support the research. You will have a role in the teaching and supervision of clinical and non-clinical staff and students and will attract studentship funding and fellowships.
The role will include clinical sessions in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinical Academic Group and would be relevant to research activities.
You will have a PhD in an appropriate scientific area, experience of productive multi-disciplinary research, and a track record of high-quality peer-reviewed publications, and a clinical qualification in child and adolescent psychiatry, i.e. CCT or equivalent.
This is a permanent post. The salary will be on the Clinical Senior Lecturer scale, £74,504 to £100,446 per annum, plus £2,162 London Allowance.
