Young Adult Hip Fellowship with Mr Richard Villar

Required for a year.

Based at the Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital, Cambridge, this busy and popular post offers extensive exposure to hip arthroscopic surgery, bone-conserving total hip arthroplasty, and hip surgery of sport.

Many premier athletes are seen. Editing experience with selected orthopaedic journals is also offered. Involvement in research, leading to publication, is expected of the successful candidate. There is the possibility of independent operating and, as such, prospective candidates must be on the Specialist Register for Trauma & Orthopaedics. FRCS (Orth) or equivalent, a research track record and a good command of the English language are essential, as is an impeccable bedside manner.

Salary is negotiable and will be discussed at interview. All shortlisted candidates will be expected to take an editing test immediately before interview. www.spirehealthcare.com
