Joining us at a time of transition for the hospital provides opportunities
to significantly contribute in reshaping the provision of trauma services
in one of Ireland’s largest departments of Trauma and Orthopaedic
Surgery. Tallaght Hospital is the National Centre for treatment of Pelvic
and Acetabular fractures with approximately 3,000 trauma procedures
per year in dedicated trauma theatres. It is also one of the busiest
elective orthopaedic units in Ireland.

Reporting to the Clinical Director, the appointed persons must have the
necessary skills and attributes to contribute to the Trauma & Orthopaedic
Surgery Department. It is a role designed for a team player and excellent
communicator.
