Trial Physician – Part Time
£31,523 - £55,754 p.a. Ref: M&HS-02022
You will be a General Practitioners/Post MRCP Physicians/Clinical Assistant/ staff grades who has an interest in clinical trials and dermatology and may wish to consider a career in Dermatology. This is initially a one year post with the opportunity to extend.
You will work under the direct supervision of Professor Christopher Griffiths (Dermatology) as part of well-respected, internationally lead multi-disciplinary research groups investigating dermatological diseases, particularly the co-ordination of clinical trials (phase I-IV) of new therapies for inflammatory skin disease and therapies.
You should have previous experience at medical SHO/FY2 grade or above with good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The position is part time based on 0.6 FTE (21 hours per week) and is tenable until 31st January 2014, based at the Dermatopharmacology Unit (Dermatology Centre) Salford Royal NHS Foundation Hospital, Salford.
