CHAIR IN CLINICAL PHARMACY PRACTICE/PROFESSORSHIP IN CLINICAL PHARMACY PRACTICE (SCALE 2)

Applications are invited for the whole-time permanent post in Clinical Pharmacy Practice, within the School of Pharmacy which is part of the College of Medicine and Health, University College Cork (UCC) Ireland. Depending on the level of experience of the successful candidate the appointment will be made at either Chair or Professor (Scale 2) level.
The appointee will have an established and internationally recognised academic career in Clinical Pharmacy Practice with experience of leading innovative research programmes, evidence of significant grant capture and a high-quality publication record. The successful candidate will be expected to play a major role in the leadership and further development of the discipline of Clinical Pharmacy Practice in the School of Pharmacy and College of Medicine and Health, and be an eective contributor to research, research-led teaching (at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels), and administration elements in the College. The successful candidate will be required to act as Head of School, on appointment, for a 3 year term and thereafter on a rotational basis. Compatibility of research interests with national and international research priorities is desirable. Good communication and personnel management skills are essential.

The salary scale (new entrants) for this permanent post is:
€113,604 - €145,953 (Professor) per annum;
€96,382 - €112,759 (Professor Scale 2)
