£60,575+ depending on experience Vigilance and Risk Management of Medicines

We are responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe. Joining a team monitoring the benefit-risk balance of medicines you will make a significant contribution to safeguarding public health.

As a benefit-risk assessor, you will monitor the safety of a portfolio of medicines, assess risk management plans, conduct assessments of benefit: risk balance of medicines, make evidence-based recommendations for action to minimise newly identified risks and maximise benefit, and ensure timely and effective communications to healthcare professionals and patients.

Together with your professional experience in one or more therapeutic areas, your ability to critically analyse clinical data and make sound independent judgements will be key to this role. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate your decisions confidently to a range of audiences, interacting with other European national agencies and the European Medicines Agency.
