Medical Director
EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
We are seeking to recruit a Medical Director for our hospital, a beautiful wooded oasis on top of Harrow-on-the Hill. As a fully registered member of the GMC, you will be a consultant with senior leadership experience in mental health. You will be required to provide strong, visible leadership in the provision of effective and high quality services in the hospital which comprises an acute mental health ward, a low secure ASD/MH services.
Having professional responsibility for medical staff in the hospital and contributing to our wider strategy as a hospital, you will be expected to develop strong working relationships, both internally and externally. You will be involved in clinical governance, offering medical and other creative solutions and innovations together with the team.
In addition, you will share responsibility for our Extra Contractual Referrals (ECR) caseload as a Responsible Clinician on the Acute Ward with another consultant. This will be paid at a daily rate per patient. You will be supported by a vibrant, well resourced Multi-Disciplinary Team.
We are therefore seeking expressions of interest from any of you that may be interested in taking the Responsible Clinician role for acute ECR admissions, on a fee for service basis. In addition, we are also seeking expressions of interest in the employed post of Medical Director, which will be combined with the ECR post.
