Vacancy for:
Director of Primary Care Development and Innovation
Four sessions per week
Remuneration: £54,500 per annum
North Durham Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has an exciting opportunity to recruit a leading clinician interested in developing our Primary Care Services in line with the vision of our Clear and Credible Plan.
North Durham CCG is constituted by its 31 member practices and services a population of 243,000. Governed across three constituencies, North Durham is focused upon being clinically led, able to make decisions quickly and safely and is committed to taking its patients with them every step of the way. This primary care facing post is a central part of engaging with our member practices and their patients in order to bring about change.
The role welcomes clinicians with a track record in leading change and promoting innovation in the primary care setting. Accountable to the chief clinical officer this postholder will have had experience of working at a senior level in a healthcare organisation and be capable of implementing the strategic decisions of the CCG.
The post will have a particular focus on:
• Stimulating innovation across commissioned services
• Fostering a culture of improvement across member practice
• In partnership with member practices, lead a programme
• of primary care development
