1.0 full time equivalent (80 hours per fortnight)

We seek to recruit a suitably qualified Gastroenterologist to the Bay of Plenty District Health Board.

This role involves: The provision of Gastroenterology Services to both inpatients and outpatients.

The provision of Acute General Inpatient Services.

As a Gastroenterologist, you will be working with three other colleagues to provide a range of Endoscopic procedures and care.

The Acute Medicine Team is comprised  12 Physicians providing the Secondary Acute Inpatient Care on the Tauranga Site.

Bay of Plenty provides Secondary Health Care Services to a population of approximately 200,000 through its two main sites: Tauranga Hospital - 350 beds and Whakatane Hospital - 115 beds.
