Hours: Part time Post – 3 sessions
Due to expansion, we need doctor(s) to join Solent NHS Trust’s Sexual Health Team in North-East Hampshire.
The integrated sexual health service is delivered by our specialist nurses supported by the SRH and GUM medical teams from hubs in Basingstoke and Aldershot and bespoke clinics in Alton, Bordon and Petersfield.
We need to strengthen this team with doctor(s) experienced in all aspects of contraception. You will hold a current diploma or membership of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare and be competent to insert Intrauterine devices.
We require a Doctor on Monday and Thursday afternoons and Friday mornings. Other times might be available. Any combination of hours up to 12 a week will be considered. Development of skills in other aspects of sexual health will be possible for the post holder(s).
Solent NHS Trust is a large provider of community services in Portsmouth, Southampton, and Hampshire and is applying for Foundation Trust Status.

Sexual & Reproductive Health – Contraception and Abortion Assessment

Hours: Part time Post – 5 sessions
Due to relocation, an opportunity has arisen to join Solent NHS Trust’s Sexual Health Service in Portsmouth and East Hampshire.
This is a very large integrated service and is part of Solent NHS Trust, a provider of community services in Portsmouth, Southampton, and Hampshire.
You will spend most of your time delivering a range of clinic services as in the job description. Although this is not a training post, Solent NHS Trust supports SAS development and the Department can offer experience and training in all aspects of sexual health. The post will
have direct Clinical care for 4 sessions, Supporting Professional Activity 1 session.
The DFSRH is essential and FSRH letters of competence are desirable, but training could be provided to the right candidate.
Southampton is ideally situated on the South Coast with easy access to the New Forest, London and Europe. There are excellent schools in the area and good sports facilities.
