Clinical Senior Lecturer Haematology
(Myeloma Lead & Lymphoma)

Institute of Cancer & Genetics, School of Medicine

The School and Cardiff and Vale University Health Board require an individual to make a key contribution to the Academic and Service requirements of the Department of Haematology. You will support the clinical service with respect to lymphoma and other lymphoid malignancies and will be expected to lead in myeloma and to exploit the considerable research facilities which are available to conduct quality research which is not required to be specific to these disease areas.

The Department has obligations to teaching at various levels, both in terms of organisation and delivery and it is expected that you will play a significant role in this.

The appointee can also expect to be involved in advisory roles in the NHS in Wales. His or her role in maintaining the integrated provision and development of both clinical and laboratory services is seen as crucial.

This post is open-ended and full time.

Salary: £72205 - £93742 per annum.
