Applications are invited for a part time Consultant Neurologist post to join our Service comprising two full time Neurologists and one Reader/ Honorary Consultant Neurologist. Neurology Services in Forth Valley are part of the Regional Neurology Service with Tertiary Services based at the Department of Clinical Neurosciences at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh. Your base will be at Forth Valley Royal Hospital, and with colleagues at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh.
 Forth Valley is located in central Scotland, with Edinburgh, Glasgow and the Highlands all easily accessible.
 The successful candidate will join three Consultant Neurologists in Forth Valley providing General Neurology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in the provision of a Subspecialist Service if desired. It is expected that two PAs per week will be spent in the Department of Clinical Neurosciences in Edinburgh, a large Neuroscience Centre with 14 Consultant and Honorary Consultant Neurologists, to facilitate academic activity and to pursue any subspecialty interest if applicable.
 Candidates will be expected to have a wide range of experience in General Neurology, and possess the MRCP (UK). Applicants must be within six months of their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) date at interview. A higher degree, MD or PhD, and a subspecialty interest would be an advantage.
