Fixed-term for 1 year, possibility to extend to 2 years
Applications are invited for this exciting opportunity, sponsored by Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY), to conduct a research project in order to gain a higher research degree (MDres or PhD). The successful applicant will undertake research, under the supervision of Professor Sanjay Sharma, in inherited cardiac diseases or sports cardiology. You will also support CRY research and screening services, as well as receive clinical training in the management of inherited heart diseases and
cardiac arrhythmias.
Applicants should be clinically qualified with MRCP and ALS and ideally would have a specialty interest in arrhythmia and/or experience of working with families with inherited heart disease. Enthusiasm and self motivation are essential for the post. The successful applicant will be able to work
independently, but will also be flexible and a good team member.
The starting salary for this role will be in the range
£33,154 - £37,758 per annum inclusive of London Weighting.
