PAEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY

Two Trust Doctors are required to work at ST2-3 equivalent level in the Cardiology Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Posts will commence on 3rd September 2012 and will be for six months. Candidates must possess MRPCH Part I or equivalent. At least 12 months’ experience in Paediatrics is required. The postholder will see a wide spectrum of Cardiothoracic Abnormalities. There will be the opportunity to gain exposure and introduction to the range of Cardiac Investigation and Interventional Techniques, especially Echocardiography. Recruitment to Specialist Training in Paediatric Cardiology occurs at ST4 level, and these posts provide an opportunity to gain exposure to the specialty for those contemplating a career in Paediatric Cardiology, or as a Paediatrician with an interest in Cardiology.
