Applications are invited for the above post based at Manchester Heart Centre. The successful candidate will join a team of 13 Consultant Cardiologists and six Consultant Cardiac Surgeons to provide a comprehensive Cardiac Service to the Trust.

Our Commitment to improving our services has led to a £450 million capital development scheme being undertaken which has seen the rebuilding of part of the Manchester Royal Infirmary, St Mary’s Hospital for Women, Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and the relocation of the Children’s Hospital to the Central Manchester site. CMFT is a Principal Teaching Hospital in Manchester, situated adjacent to the campus of Manchester University.
The Trust provides Secondary and Tertiary Services to a population in the North West of England including Adult Congenital Heart Disease Services, Vascular Surgery and Renal Dialysis and Transplantation.

It is now a requirement for successful candidates to have completed Specialist Training and to be entered on the General Medical Council’s (GMC) Specialist Register, or be eligible to be listed within six months of interview. The successful candidate will be required to apply for an Enhanced Criminal Records Bureau Disclosure.
