Secondary Care Doctor Member (Designate)

NHS Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group Secondary Care Doctor Member (Designate). This is an exciting opportunity to join the Governing Body of one of the largest Clinical Commissioning Groups in England, with a population of c856,000 and a budget of c£1 billion, as the secondary care doctor member. You will contribute to development of the CCG’s strategic objectives and assist the CCG leadership by providing constructive challenge, and accountability to the population that we serve.

We are seeking a doctor who is, or has been, a secondary care specialist, has a high level of understanding of how care is delivered in a secondary care setting, is highly regarded as a clinical leader, preferably with experience working as a leader across more than one clinical discipline. The individual should have no conflicts of interest i.e. they should not be employed by any organisation from which the CCG secures any significant volume of services.
