PAEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY
A Locum Consultant in Paediatric Cardiology is required to support and develop the Cardiology arrangements in Manchester Children’s Hospitals. The post is available from as soon as possible for a period of six months.
Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) was established on 1st April 2001, and comprises Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital (RMCH), Manchester Royal Infirmary, St Mary’s Hospital, Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, the University Dental Hospital and Trafford Hospitals. Specialist Children’s Services are based in the new, purpose built Children’s Hospital which opened in June 2009.
There is a full provision for inpatient and outpatient facilities for all aspects of acquired and Congenital Paediatric Heart Disease. The Consultants undertake Outpatient Clinics at ten District General Hospitals and combined with the work undertaken within the Trust, see approximately 6,500 new and review patients annually.
