Kristiansund’s hospital is one of four hospitals that collaborate under the hospital trust called Helse Møre og Romsdal. It is also closely connected to Trondheim University Hospital, the cooperation includes both undergraduate clinical teaching and optional postgraduate PhD opportunities.
Kristiansund Hospital has all the different specialties crucial to a well functioning general hospital: medicine and and general surgery, orthopedics, pediatrics, gynecology, maternity wards, intensive care unit, radiology, biochemstry laboratory, outpatient psychiatry for adults and children.
Our department of internal medicine is a well run and offers a great professional environment. We are now looking forward to see you the next member of our team! Altogether we are 150 employees in internal medicine department, including some 25 senior and junior doctors, each with different specialties or aspirations within different parts of internal medicine. We have a caring and including work environment, our staff consists of highly committed professionals working closely together. CARDIOLOGIST
We are in search of a colleague, qualifi ed cardiologist or physician with a special interest in heart disease. The person we would like to employ will be working I close cooperation with a very highly qualifi ed staff headed by our Chief cardiologist. There are in-patient cardiology beds and there is extensive outpatient activity
NEPHROLOGIST
We are in search of a colleague, qualifi ed nephrologist or physician with a special interest in kidney disease. The person we would like to employ will be working I close cooperation with a very highly qualifi ed staff headed by our Chief nephrologist. The work includes outpatient nephrology, dialysis (approx. 25 haemodialysis patients) as well as inpatient kidney disease beds.
PULMONARY SPECIALIST
Internist with a pulmonary specialization, alternatively an internist with a strong interest for lung diseases. At our hospital the pulmonary specialty is central in the assessments of an increasing group of patients with obstructive- and smoke related lung diseases. The work will take place in the intensive care- and general medical inpatient unit, cancer clinic, and the outpatient department for internal medicine/ pulmonary clinic. All units are staffed with highly competent specialist nurses.
