In advance of appointing a new substantive Consultant in Adult Neurology later this year, we are seeking a Locum Consultant. This post will be for a fixed term period of six weeks, ideally starting in the last week of June 2012.
The post has a standard format with 3.5 Outpatient Clinics, 2 Ward Rounds and one Continuing Professional Development (CPD) session per week and no out of hours commitment. There is a full Neurology Service, providing Outpatient Care both at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) and in the community, and supporting a 10-bedded specialist Neurology Inpatient Ward with appropriate Junior Staff.
The Royal United Hospital provides Hospital and Community Health Services for a population of 500,000 within Bath, Somerset, Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire.
