NHS North East Lincolnshire CCG and CT is emerging as an innovative organisation that aims to be fully authorised to take on responsibility for commissioning high quality health and social care services for 158,400 people in North East Lincolnshire from October 2012, making most effective use of a combined health and social care financial allocation of £260 million.
We are looking for an exceptional clinical candidate to provide strategic leadership to North East Lincolnshire CCG and CT who will work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver improved health and social care outcomes, reduce health inequalities and improve quality and patient/service user experience in a challenging financial environment. In this role you will work in close partnership with the Chair of the Governing Body and the Council of Members.
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate that you have the strength to influence Stakeholders and Partners, are passionate about enabling clinical leadership and recognise that CCGs are different from any predecessor NHS organisation. Our ideal candidate will have significant experience at a Senior (Partner) level within a GP practice environment, of board-level working and leading improvements in healthcare services; a track record of successfully working with clinical professionals to improve services across organisation boundaries; experience of managing budgets and maintaining financial balance; exceptional leadership skills and a clear understanding of the importance of corporate governance.
