Vigilance and Risk Management of Medicines
£60,575+ depending on experience
Victoria, London
Ref: VR144 & VR145
We are responsible for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe. Joining a team either monitoring the benefit-risk balance of medicines or a team specialising in paediatric medicines, you will make a significant contribution to safeguarding public health.
As a benefit-risk assessor, you will monitor the safety of a portfolio of medicines and assess risk management plans, taking actions to reduce newly identified risks. If your interest is in paediatrics, you will assess the clinical efficacy and safety of medicines designed for children with a view to increasing the number of products authorised for this population.
Together with your professional experience in one or more therapeutic areas or in paediatrics, your ability to critically analyse clinical data and make sound independent judgements will be key to either of these roles. You will work in a multi-disciplinary team and communicate your decisions confidently to a range of audiences, interacting with other European national agencies and the European Medicines Agency.
