Fellowship in Surgical Oncology
Sarcoma & Melanoma Unit
The Royal Marsden Hospital Applications for a Surgical Fellowship working on the Sarcoma & Melanoma Unit are invited from surgical trainees who wish to dedicate further time to training in specialist surgical oncology.
You will have operative and clinical responsibilities and provide peri-operative patient care. Opportunities for a clinically-based research project are available depending on the applicant’s interests.
You will be under the supervision of Professor J Meirion Thomas and Mr A J Hayes in the Department of Academic Surgery.
The tenure for this appointment is for 11.5 months and will commence in February 2013. Applicants must be eligible for full GMC registration, hold part I and II MRCS parts I & II and have completed 3 years of higher surgical training. This post is full time and will involve participation in a 1:10 general surgical rota with prospective cover.
