Aren't all locum agencies the same?
Well no they are not. Holt Doctor's professional team are fully trained, the majority with many years of doctor experience. That means they understand your specialty, and sub-specialty, appreciate the nuances of your work and won't suggest positions that aren't appropriate for you.
We have excellent links with Medical Staffing Officers of hospitals across the UK which means we can bring you a fabulous range of vacancies, close to home or further afield.
Holt Doctor's compliance alert system is designed to enable you to work consistently through us with no enforced breaks due to any elements of your "compliant" status expiring. For example, you are required to update your knowledge with a series of training courses annually. Not only will we alert you in good time that you need to take these courses again, we provide subsidised access to this training.
Don't all agencies just have the same jobs?
No we don't. Individual hospitals make a variety of arrangements with locum agencies which invariably means their jobs are only sent to a small selection or sometimes just one agency. That is why Holt Doctors work hard to develop good ongoing relationships and obtain contracts to supply hospitals - we want to provide you with a choice of vacancies, and vacancies that match your ability.
We hold a number of "Tier 1" supplier contracts and are also one of very few locum agencies operating "Master Vendor" contracts - meaning Holt Doctors has sole responsibility for the management and procurement of doctors at the hospital.
